| Ashager is a Non Governmental
Organization (NGO) governed by a Board of Directors and
pending IRS code 501 (C) (3). It was founded in 2004 in the
state of California, USA as a non-profit organization.
Ashager: A bridge to health and prosperity has no political
or religious affiliation. It is comprised of people armed
with intellectual prose and spirit of compassion to empower
education in Africa. Ashager’s mission is two fold: global
and local. The global branch organization serves as a bridge
between educational institutions in Africa with those in
western nations to facilitate the diffuse of resources in
both directions. The local branch of Ashager’s helps create
bridge between higher learning institutions in the U.S. and
their neighboring communities to empower education.
We invite you to be a part of this organization and to
contribute for the improvement of higher education. Our
organization focuses especially on Engineering and Medical
institutions in Ethiopia, and aims to set up and equip
Engineering and Medical labs in every institution there.
Although our work is not limited to just Ethiopia, and
extends further out to other African countries, Ethiopia is
our premiere global focus. We are headquartered in
California, but as the Ashager way of thinking spreads, we
have stretched our wings and have crossed borders to
encompass various institutions. We are pleased to say we now
have presence at Stanford University, University of
Pennsylvania, Colombia University, University of Maryland,
Addis Ababa University, Behar Dar University, and Arba Minch
University. We are always looking for ways to create
stronger bridges between various universities and facilitate
the flow of resources.
We are happy you got the chance to visit our website.
Make yourself at home, browse, and learn about Ashager and
